  1. J do you have any information on an article that was once published on this website about the history of the King James Bible?
    or a current link?

  2. Hi if you don’t mind me asking, do you consider yourself Christian? If you don’t want to answer because it’s too personal that’s fine

  3. Hey J, Its good to talk with you. My name is Beth with an el. I am concerned for the ‘name’ of the Son of the most high. Also, I am questioning the saying of ‘amen’ with the strong emotional ‘double amen’ as a term of validation of our prayers and supplications. When I go to God through Jesus; I say ‘Iehoshuah’. Now is amen-ra the sun deity come from Egypt, through Joseph who is called by the name ‘Israel’? And has the mythological ‘amen’ entered our holy holy holy place? Our prayers and our supplications, our crying and our tears, which belong to Jesus. …Smiles.

  4. Bethel, I’m not sure what you’re asking. Are you asking whether “amen” is connected to the Egyptian deity Amen-Ra? I’m not aware of any such connection.

  5. Thanks Jayman777,So apparently Joseph the son of Jacob is called Israel, and he married the daughter of the priest of On.(Heliopolis). They made Ephraim and Manasseh who are called Israel. When their children, (called Israel) left Egypt they brought their sin curse of the sun god, amen-Ra with them. The AKJV Numbers ch.5; verses 11 to 22 describes the horror of an evil scroll slipping past the watchers and into the temple tent, beginning a tradition of cursing the women and the people not in the name of IHVH, but because they were worshiping amen Ra. Later evil, angry Men like who? David and Solomon and their evil descendants, (the second temple period) Then Peter, and the Roman churches put that among Jesus words and in the gospels. Worldwide, It has found its way into our prayers and supplications. This Egyptian God name, that is no god, but a star; is known as (the invisible one). Thanks people. Can I get an Iehoshuah and an Iehoshuah. Loving lambs of Holy Jesus, look at this great evil, Numbers ch. 5; 11-22. I mean why don’t they just say ‘so be it’? Love and smiles in Jesus name.

  6. Bethel, apparently? What is the evidence for anything you wrote? What is the earliest source? Chapter and verse? In particular what is the source for these claims?

“When their children, (called Israel) left Egypt they brought their sin curse of the sun god, amen-Ra with them”
“Later evil, angry Men like who? David and Solomon and their evil descendants, (the second temple period) Then Peter, and the Roman churches put that among Jesus words and in the gospels”

Numbers 5:11-31 (commentary here) is about a case where a husband suspects his wife has committed adultery but has no solid evidence or witnesses to support his claim. It does not describe an evil scroll slipping past watchers. The priest is instructed to write the curse on a scroll (5:23). The Egyptian deity Amen Ra is not mentioned at all. The double amen in 5:22 is the woman accepting the curse if she is guilty. You are equating the Egyptian deity Amen/Amun with the Hebrew word “amen” for no reason.

  7. Hey J,

I wanted to ask you about the Apostles. Lately there have been people all around claiming to have a gift of apostleship. What are your thoughts on this issue of Gift of the Spirit?

    Thank you

  8. R, I have not given it much thought. If what is meant is establishing and strengthening churches then there are present-day apostles. Whether it is a gift of the Spirit or not can be debated. This does not mean such apostles are on the same level as the Twelve or Paul.
